Iraqi Insurgent Civilian Clothing with Great Arabic Labels
$169.99
I had these sent from Iraq in 2005 when the insurgency was in full boil. They have great Arabic labels and fake GAP label.
Add one of the AK chestbags, an RPG-7 pack, sandals and headscarf, all listed here and you have a pretty complete insurgent display.

1950 Saudi Arabian Pipeline, 8mm Home Movie, Drilling Blasting Workers Lay Pipe.
Film is curled, but held together and ran on a 1930s Keystone projector with manual film threading. I would not advise trying to view through a self threading projector. A-D strip indicates that the film is at 1.5 for vinegar syndrome. Film is in cold storage to prevent further deterioration.
There is so much amazing footage on this reel. The footage of the crew is so good.
I have loaded a few clips from the film on YouTube. (Phone video while I was viewing so not the best) Great historic footage.

Dear sir

I am intersted in selling and collecting rare iraqi items before 2003 , where i aquired all of my stuff is a hard question to answered because , i bought items from Old collectors or Iraqi people who live here , and from local markets , antiques dealers , so its not one source , i love iraqi items so i find it very hardly but others doesnt care about it so they dont recognize it , Now about alba'ath doctrine , this radio played a role for spreading Saddam politics for the Iraqi people by broadcasting the speeches to Iraqie people and this Brand is made in Iraqi under the cooperation with Toshiba so they made Radios , stereos , Televisons and other sound devices and they made them mostly in 1990s , when iraq was under siege and after the fall of baghdad at 4/9/2003 the company never opened .

Thanks and hope that you do not miss this radio because its rare not only online but even here in local market..

Waiting to hear from you

Bye

Anatolian Tell Halaf Pottery Female Idol
liveauctionners
Estimate $700-$1,050 (bidding)

Western Asia/Near East, Anatolia (central Turkey) or northern Syria, Tell Halaf area, ca. 6500 to 4500 BCE. A fascinating pottery fertility figure depicting a seated woman with voluptuous breasts cradled by her curved arms and wide thighs. She has sloping shoulders which taper inward to a slender neck, and her head has a prominent pinched nose and a pinched coiffure. Thin black lines decorate her body. As early as the 7th millennium BCE, cultures in the Near East began creating organized settlements with highly developed religious as well as funerary practices. The Halaf culture of Anatolia (central Turkey) and northern Syria produced fascinating female figurines like this one. Whether images like these were intended to represent real, ideal, or divine women is unknown. Size: 1.95" W x 3" H (5 cm x 7.6 cm)

Provenance: East Coast collection, New York Gallery, New York City, New York, USA, acquired before 2010
